Bringing On-Site Calligraphy to Google Headquarters
When Google reached out to me for an onsite calligraphy activation at one of their corporate events, I worked closely with their event planner to bring their vision to life. They wanted each attendee’s name hand-lettered on their event badges to add a personal, elevated touch. With an estimated 500 guests attending, I knew that executing this smoothly would require a strategic approach.
From the very beginning, I made recommendations on how many calligraphers would be needed to ensure efficiency without compromising quality. The planner was thrilled when I told them that I could provide all the artists needed—eliminating the need to coordinate with multiple vendors. This meant a single point of contact to handle all coordination, making the entire process more seamless and efficient for the client. The event itself was a huge success! Our team of five calligraphers worked efficiently, creating beautifully lettered badges while our two assistants kept everything running smoothly.
